Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival at Kathmandu
Arrival in the Kathmandu received upon arrival and transferred to hotel. Rest day at Kathmandu
Day 02
Rest day at sightseeing in Kathmandu
Sightseeing the Kathmandu City
Day 03
Flight from Kathmandu to Rumtek
Morning drive to the airport for flight to Bagdogra. Received upon arrival and transferred to Rumtek, check into a resort, near the Monastery overnight in hotel.
Day 04
Rumtek to Gangtok
Early walk to nearby village and further discover the cultural heritage of the small hill resort, flung by the Buddhist religion, you will taken to Rumtek Monastery (seat of Karmapa Lama who heads the Kagyupa sect of Buddhism), one can see the beautiful Thankas, your next destination is Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Tsuklakhang (The Royal Chapel),Ganesh Tok overnight in hotel.
Day 05
Gangtok to Lachung
Morning after refreshing breakfast, we will drive along the meandering road to Lachung Valley, enrooted visit the Kabi Lungchok, the historic battle field , Phodong Monastery and Holy rock at Chungthang, said to be blessed by Guru Rimpoche. At the end of 125km drive we will reach a small yet awfully beautiful valley, occupied by the Bhutia people, on the bank of river Lachung Chu overnight in hotel.
Day 06
Lachung to Yumthung
Early morning you will be taken to Yumthung valley, a pasture land, situated at an altitude of 2500m, through adjoining Singba Forest Reserve, lined up with beautiful family of Rhododendron, which blooms during the month of May. A few hundred meters off the road crossing River Lachung over a pedestrian bridge, near a sulphur springs and bathing pools. Late afternoon transfer back to Lachung overnight in hotel.
Day 07
Yumthung to Gangtok
After breakfast, you are free to explore the village, visit the Lachung Monastery and the village handicraft industry. Afternoon you will be transferred back to Gangtok overnight in hotel.
Day 08 Gangtok to Ravangla
Today in the early morning you will drive past the enigmatic countryside of Gangtok to the base of Menam Hill, a transit point of the trekkers to Menam & Borong Hill. Visit the 235 years old Rolang Monastery built on the land blessed by Ninth Karmapa. O/N in Resort.
Day 09 Ravangla to Yuksom
After leisurely breakfast transfer to Yuksom, enroute visit Tashiding Monastery, situated in a high ridge, amidst mountain and dense forest. Afternoon free. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 Rest day at Yuksom
Today in the morning we will walk past the small village to the Norbu Gang Chorten to see the coronation throne of the first Chogyal of Sikkim, and then walk around in the village of this small unexplored hill station overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Yuksom to Pelling
Morning you will be driven to the next destination, Pelling (32km), enrooted we will visit, Khechopalri Lake (wishing lake).check into hotel .Overnight at Resort.
Day 12 Rest day at Pelling
Early morning we will walk up to the second oldest monastery of Sikkim, Sanga-Choling Monastery, through alpine family, after spending some lazy time we will be back to visit the old and sacred Pemayangste Monastery, to discover its richness. After a leisurely walk we will reach the Rabdentse ruins the second capital Sikkim overnight at hotel.
Day 13 Pelling to Rinchenpong to Kaluk
Morning drive to Rinchenpong a small village in the Western District of Sikkim, and check into one of most magnificent place which offers a delightful home stay. Check into Rinchenpong Village.
Day 14 Kaluk to Chitrey
Early morning drive to Chitrey wayside inn, check in the inn, and enjoy the white water rafting in River Teesta overnight in hotel.
Day 15 Chitrey to Bagdogra
After breakfast you will be transferred to NJP/Bagdogra for your onward journey.
Day 16 Flight from Bagdogra to Kathmandu
Day 17 Rest day at Kathmandu
Day 18 Departure your destination

Travel Information :

Tour booking with full payment should reach us at least 15 days in a advance along with full passport details. There will be a cancellation charge of 50% for confirmed booking un to 7 days prior to departure for the journey. No refund thereafter even for NO_SHOWS & DELAYED ARRIVALS due to whatsoever regions

Visa Regulation:
One moth visa for Sikkim & Darjeeling can be obtained from any Indian Embassy or Consulate abroad. The Sikkim permit with Indian visa can also be obtained in Kathmandu, Nepal within one day with a condition that the client should be available in Kathmandu, Nepal visa can be obtained at the airport upon arrival.

Climate:
(Spring Feb/Mar/April 20 C - 25 C. Summer May/June/July 23C. - 29 C. Autumn Aug/Sep/October 16 C. -28 C. Winter Nov/Dec/January 07 C. - 14 C. (Above temperatures are based on day ones)

Clothing:
In general, heavy woollen wears are required in winter. However, a warm Jampur & a jacket are always advised due to the unpredictable nature of the weather. For the trek purpose, following items are recommended: Down jacket, Woollen Sweaters, Cotton/ Woollen Shirts, Woollen Trousers, Long johns, Rain cort, Comfortable trekking shoes, Sun Goggles, Sun hat, Warm Gloves, Suntanlotion, Water bottle, Chapstick, Medical Kit,

Risks & Liability:
Ramdung “Go” Treks & Expedition (P) Ltd. shall always put its all efforts in making your journey smooth and pleasant. However, as be responsible for any charge of cancellation of programmes due to any unavoidable circumstances such as road blockade, flood, snow, and unrest, cancellation of flight, delay arrivals, sickness or accidents. Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients. So, it is most advisable that clients to have full insurance against medical and personal accidents. Cancellation insurance is also highly recommended.
